The Tyre Control unit is a hand-held portable device to measure and record tyre temperatures and pressure data for each tyre at pit stops intervals.
The tyre pressure sensor is integrated into the unit and with a Temperature Probe, connected, surface temperatures can be monitored and stored as well.
The large backlit display is formatted to show all the measured information clearly and can display the ambient asphalt temperature. Up to three tyre surface temperature readings can be measured across the tyre for each tyre. The corresponding tyre pressures can also be measured and displayed both before and after adjustment if required.
The data is recorded and memorised on a day and time basis but can be repeated and logged up to a hundred times during a test session. The data can be downloaded over the IR/USB link (optional extra) to a PC or laptop for analysis using the Visual Data software package at any time.
