Your racing machine might be finely tuned, but are you? Alfano Data Acquisition instruments allow you to do this and
knock seconds off your lap times and be at the front of the grid.

Alfano lap timing and data logging instrumentation use their patented magnetic strips embedded in the track to measure
lap times accurately to the nearest 10 milliseconds. As the car passes over the strip a sensor onboard the vehicle
sends a signal to the instrument providing the driver with precise lap times, split times, fastest lap and comparisons with
targets; live in-car. The information is logged in the instrument and can be replayed on the instrument’s screen or down-
loaded via its Infra Red computer link for analysis.

This unique Alfano advantage provides an enviable means of very accurate lap timing without relying on third party trackside beacons. All popular UK circuits are fitted with Alfano magnetic strips and it is simply a matter of driving on track and your lap times will automatically be recorded. Some circuits have more than one strip, which means that you can record split lap times as well.

Whilst the Alfano ‘Fun’ simply records lap time information, the Astro range of instruments have added functionality and perform track mapping and engine monitoring with a comprehensive list of features, displays and alarms.
