Harnesses

Willans make a harness that is suited to your exact requirements including harnesses specifically for HANS® device wearers. If one of their many standard harnesses is not quite what you need then there is no problem incorporating your preferred fittings and measurements giving you a made to measure harness to fit you, your seat and vehicle perfectly. Willans is a UK comany and all manufacturing is carried out in their workshop in the South of England enabling them to offer a quick turnaround if needed, which you would be hard pushed to get anywhere else. Hot-Lap are please to be associated with Willans and have selected harnesses from the range appropriate for Hot-Lap's market. The Willans products offered by Hot-Lap are FIA approved and in addition Hot-Lap also offer the HANS Device.

To launch the range of products through Hot-Lap, Willans have manufactured a Hot-Lap harness specifically for the Lotus Elise / Exige.
The other Willans harnesses basically fall into two categories; the Club and Silverstone. Club harnesses differ from Silverstone harnesses in that they use the Willans steel anti-creep adjusters on the shoulder straps whereas the Silverstone range use the Willans alloy adjusters. All harnesses offered by Hot-Lap use the Willans Rotary aircraft type buckle. This buckle is the slickest we have come across - just offer up the strap buckle fixings into the rotary buckle and they are locked - no pushing in and then manipulating for a locking 'click'. There is also a wide choice of fixings available enabling the customer to find a solution to their harness requirement.

There are two harnesses available for the Elise & Exige; the Willans Hot-Lap 6 point harness, ideally suited for racing and the Willans Silverstone EXG 4 point harness suitable for road, trackday and race use.

The Silverstone range of harnesses use the Willans 3" Alloy Adjusters on the shoulder straps with a choice of adjusters on the lap straps. The crotch straps on the 6 point harnesses can be either the loop and D, T or V fitting.

The Club  harnesses are essentially the same as the Silverstone range but use the standard Willans anti-creep steel adjusters on the shoulder straps.
