Longer storage life - Unlike ordinary batteries, the Odyssey battery can stored for up to 2 years at 25ºC (77ºF) from a fully charged state.

Deep discharge recovery - can easily and repeatedly recover from deep discharges. Conventional SLI batteries have extreme difficulty recovering from similar situations.
